Just so you know . . . it's kind of a big deal
year36: Sunday, June 28, 2009 will be the 40th Anniversary of the Stonewall Inn Riots in NY City. The Stonewall riots were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969 at the Stonewall Inn, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of New York City. Stonewall is frequently cited as the first instance in American...

Obligatory Michael Jackson Post
I wonder if Michael Jackson really did molest any of those kids. I guess the world will never know.

Nightmare Cont.
Ever have one of those persistant nightmares that continue even after you wake up and fall back asleep? It’s like you are having a nightmare, wake up, and then when you go back to sleep, your nightmare picks back up where it left off (roughly). That just happened to me 3 times, this morning. It was about vampires. haha. I am such a little kid. That actually used to happen to me all the time...

thedailywhat: Morning List: 15 Transformers mistake pictures. Michael Bay doesn’t have time to pay attention to these stupid litte details. He is busy creating enough action and explosions to blow the bottom out of your popcorn. Or, at least thats how the guy next to me said it happened. I was wondering how come the popcorn at the bottom seemed more buttery than at the top.

I could have met Jessica Alba
kenohno: jeremyduncan: We just passed a movie set in Cordell, Oklahoma where they were filming The Killer within Us or something like that. Maybe The Killer Inside Me, 1950s classic noir novel by Jim Thompson set in West Texas that I’m coincidentally reading right now? **According to that IMDB page, it’s shooting in Enid, OK, so I’m guessing that was it. So far the book is really good — its...

It is funny. Everything that is dirty here (Oklahoma) is red.

The dirt in this part of Oklahoma is so red. It is almost pink.

Ghetto Fabulous Hamburger Helper
I am not sure how much a box of Hamburger Helper is, but I think I saved a couple bucks with my version. I cooked a pack of Ramen Noodles (10-15 cents) and a pound of ground beef mixed with the Ramen seasoning (chicken in this case) and some seasonings I had on hand (garlic salt and seasoned salt). Afterwards, I stirred in a few slices of american cheese. Tasted as good as any Hamburger Helper...

Wow. Fever Pitch Sucks
I guess I knew it would, but damn. It is worse than I thought. What were you thinking, Drew Barrymore?! Also, Jimmy Fallon is a shitty actor. Fuck Comcast “On Demand”.

Security
Anti-second amendment folks can say what they want, but I felt a lot safer having my gun on me tonight (this morning) while I cleaned my garage. I live in a “bad” area. Even if a person tried to hurt/kill me without a gun, they probably could have, had I not been in possession mine. Yeah, it sucks living in a world full of naughty people, but taking away my protection won’t solve...
