You guys will have to tell me if Eat Sleep Draw posts any of my stuff.

I doubt you will have to, though. I have submitted several of my better paintings and drawings of the last few months. Aside from the sketches I did of Calvin and Rex, they have yet to post anything of mine. They just don’t love me, anymore. I think it’s time for us to break up.

kaitlinpayne asked: Gabe wanted to get me a mac really bad, but I just told him that I want a really tricked out PC instead. I have enough problems trying to figure out the type of computer that I've been using pretty much since 2nd grade, I don't need new keys and stuff added to the equation. I'm such a grandma, but I like PCs.

I was being a little unfair to my little Mac. It actually has been real good to me. It has lasted me through 2 desktop PCs and 1 laptop. Even with it’s measly 2 gigs of RAM, it still runs way smoother than either of my PCs, each of which had twice as much. I literally use it everyday.

My Mac frustrations come from not being able to steal expensive software for it, like I can on my PC. That’s due to it being less vulnerable to manipulation, which should be a good thing…for honest people.

I will say, there is a huge learning curve. In the 3 years that I’ve had this thing, there are still simple things I have no idea how to do, and have not been able to find through research. I think I will make a list of 5 about those things.

Macs are pricey as hell, too.

I never realized how much I prefer my PC over my Mac, until my PC became unusable.

My Mac is great for not contracting viruses, but horrible for….everything else. If I was rich enough to buy all my favorite programs, it might be different. I can’t even get  workable version of photoshop on this fucking thing.

Tonight I had the pleasure of finally seeing Louis C.K. in person at Holy Fuck, held at the Downtown Independent. He did some first class baby-in-bandages and oil spill material that I’m sure I’ll never get to hear again.
Other comics on the show were Matt Braunger, T.J. Miller, Ron Lynch, Joe Wengert, Andy Peters, and Joe Wagner. All in all, a great lineup from top to bottom, and a super fun show overall. I highly recommend checking it out when it’s back in a couple of weeks. And it’s totally free!

Louis C.K. is probably my favorite stand up comedian. No one makes me laugh like he does. I am still trying to get into his new show. It’s great, I just need to get used the format.

kevinmosley asked: Don't buy that sigma lens. The crazy zoom lenses are nice because you never take them off but they don't create beautiful photographs like primes or higher quality zoom lenses. I know it is a cheap lens but I don't think it is worth it. You also mentioned that it is an EF-S lens mount and that is only going to work on the 1.6 x crop APS-C sized Canon Senors. Buy EF mount lenses and they will work with any EOS SLR including 35mm.

I’ve pretty much decided against it. If I wanna take mediocre pictures on vacation, I’ll buy a better point and shoot. Something that takes decent video, too. Thanks for the advice, though.

My day has consisted of trying to remove this malicious program from my computer. Like an idiot, I download a torrent last night without checking it’s contents, first. Bascially this “antimalware” program is malware at it’s finest. It gives you some bogus scan and says you have all these viruses, trojans, and various other security threats on your computer. It’s fake, of course. It’s just trying to get you to pay to register it.
It’s very tricky to remove. It disables your sytem restore options, disables your registry editing capabilities, blocks you from uninstalling it, it even slowed down the internet speed of our entire network. Luckily I have a Macbook and was able to research how to remove it. Everything I read suggested Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware program, but i couldn’t get it to run. Kyle’s I.T. guy told me to go get a program called rkill. It disables the malicious program so you can run other software to remove it. Still have a scan running. Hope this finally works.

I think this is the next lens I want. Kinda low aperture, but I want a walk around lens with more range. I get sick of always changing lenses when I am on vacation or just messing round. Amazon has them for $479, or I could get the 18-200mm for a hundred bucks cheaper. Christmas, maybe…
Eh, on second thought, it doesn’t look like the Sigma DC line will work on the higher end Canons. If I ever want to upgrade to a 5D or better.
