Three Coincidences of the Weekend

1. I am at dinner Friday night telling a story about how the bartender at the Elbo Room (a karaoke bar in Peoria) got pissed at me and sang my song. My friend Amanda asked me what song it was. Right after she asked, the guy’s phone at the table next to us rang. His ring tone was Nuttin But a G Thang - Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg…the song I was supposed to sing.

2. Another karaoke one. We go to a karaoke bar in Chicago and there is a guy that regulars the Elbo Room. I thought that was a pretty big coincidence, anyways.

3. This is the one that made me post this. OK. We spend all day Saturday playing GTA 4 at Amanda’s. One of the songs on game is Goodbye Horses - Q Lazzarus, the song I posted on here earlier tonight. When I was playing the game, I realized that was the song from Silence of the Lambs when Buffalo Bill does his little penis tuck dance. So that song has been stuck in my head the last couple days and I spent a little while tonight watching it on youtube and along with some parodies (most notably, the one from Clerks 2). Anyways, just a few min ago I was getting all caught up on my Sunday night TV and Family Guy parodied that part of Silence of the Lambs. Complete with Goodbye Horses playing in the background. I watched it after I just got done posting that song on here.

I thought they were all pretty weird coincidences.
