I really hope this catches on.
Don’t get me wrong, I love kids, and I know that sometimes they misbehave. It would be intolerant to not understand and accept this to an extent. When a child acts up in public, however, it is the parent’s responsibility to correct this behavior. If not for the good of teaching the child, at least for the comfort of the other patrons. If a child is truly out of a parent’s control, then that parent should realize that there are just going to be certain places they cannot take them. For the same reason you can’t just spark up a cigar, kick your feet up on the table, bring in a loud radio, or anything else that would be disruptive to people paying for the experience of dining out.
