Tonight Phil, Josh, and I played some darts at Crusens. They had a $5 cover cause some shitty band from Alabama was there to play cover songs. I dont really understand the purpose of bands like that. I mean, I kinda get cover bands…ya know that only cover one band and pretty much pretend to be that band, but I dont get bands that just cover a bunch of songs from random artists. Seems like they always pick songs that were popular in the late 90s or early 2000’s, too. I almost wonder if they maybe write some of their own stuff but Cruzens is like, “No. Fuck that. Dont play any shit of your own. Our crowd only wants to hear Matchbox 20, Greenday, Third Eye Blind and shit like that. Maybe, if you really win them over, we will except a Rolling Stones or even Kiss cover, but NEVER anything original. Their drunk minds can only process songs they know the words to.”
