I’m using one right now. You would think this is a great time to watch some Vimeo HD. But no, you’re not able to download flash 9. It does not make any sense. I do not want to watch youtube videos on an HD set. Suck my balls, Sony!
My sentiments exactly They don’t even have a video store on the Sony Network so you can buy HD movies to download. That’s something XBOX has over PS3. I download HD movies on my XBOX all the time. I wonder why Sony even bothered to put a 60GB hardrive on this thing. All you can download is trailers and clips.
Actually, for all the hype there is about HD, there is a pretty limited selection of HD things to watch. I got probably 10-12 HD channels so I can watch a few prime-time shows or the local news in HD. Blockbuster carries Bluray, but they only have one small section. Plus, they only have like 2 copies each, so the new releases are never in. Hopefully now that Bluray won the battle companies are going to start releasing a lot more.
