Infomercials

Just because the TV is on and I am not watching it I have sat through seven infomercials.

The first two were about music compilation CDs. I wont go into those.

Extenze: Penis Enlarger

This is obviously fake. If guys could take a pill to make their dick bigger EVERY due would do it. Even guys that are already well endowed. Our dicks could never be big enough.

Bowflex: Weight Lifting System

Seems legit. I almost bought one but its pretty much the most expensive machine on the market. By hundreds of dollars.

Some colon cleaning system

Basically just a bunch of different pillsw to take that cleans you colon over a weeks time. I have heard that cleaning your colon is really important but this shit was pretty expensive. Id probably just buy something from a health store.

Magic Bullet: Food chopper thing

This thing was pretty impressive if you cooked all the stuff that you use it for. Personally I don’t even really cook stuff that you have to add herbs and spices to, more less actually prepare my own from scratch. It was pretty small and simple, two positive features, yet that’s also why it seemed pretty pricey, 100 bucks for basically a little motor that spins the choppy sharp part. I guess if you figure in all the extra shit, tho. They actually give ya two Magic Bullets plus some glasses and stuff.

Finally,

Shaun T’s Rockin Body: Exercise video

This is basically a high-tech version of Richard Simmons: Dancing to the Oldies. Current music, Newer (due to the help of years of research and improved technology) More Efficient Exercises, Hip New Rocking Dance Movies via ShaunT. Very light spoken for a huge, muscle bound black dude. Anyways, as gay as it seems, I would probably buy this if I thought I would actually do it. Which I desperately need to.

As much as I hate soliciting and most advertising, infomercials don’t bother me all that much. I have found myself zoning out to them many times. If you remember next time you see one (or just the end for people that hate them), its fun to try and guess what kinda free shit, or ADDITIONAL VALUE they throw in. Sometimes, although rarely, they don’t give anything free. Most of the time though, the extra stuff is better or more valuable that the thing they are advertising.
