Bacon Explosion update:

the grill set it on fire, even through the foil. should probably have saved this for the smoker, or even dug mine out of storage. oven would have worked, but i am sure, i lack one. i brought it in to finish in a pan on the stove with a lid on low heat. hopefully it does the job. much of the bacon is charred. i will have to wait to say for sure, but it is looking as if this experiment is going to be a failure.
