well, this is the bacon explosion after 2 hours at 300f in the toaster oven. it is definitely cooked all the way through, but i am not satisfied. the outer layer of bacon is too soggy. i put it back in unwrapped on broil, but it about set my toaster oven on fired. the fat splattered and hit the heating elements creating flames. i turned it down to 350. i really think the only successful way to cook a Bacon Explosion is in a smoker. Maybe a regular oven.
